I've been a musician most of my life

My musician journey started at 7 years old when I started studying piano at Carnegie Mellon University. By my mid-teens I had switched to guitar and I was performing live with my first band at 18. I've been involved with performing music in some form or another for over 50 years.

After high school I attended college and received a B.S. in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University where I learned audio production, performed in original bands, and honed my songwriting chops. After school I ended up at Walt Disney World and later Universal Studios where I was an audio engineer running sound for live shows. I always had music as my "side-hustle" from my day job and did many music related things during these years like being in the house band for an improv comedy theater, playing in the band for a Nickelodeon kid's talk-show pilot, producing projects for my production company, engineering and producing a full-length CD of original music for one of my bands, and playing in numerous bands to solo gigs for restaurants, bars, events, and private parties. I play four instruments--Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Keys with guitar being my main instrument and I’m an experienced vocalist in a band setting as well as a solo performer.

Since 2002 I have been in producing audio and video  productions for my own production company. Since 2017 I've primarily been focused performing as a singing guitarist for private events, parties, and functions throughout my home state of Florida.

I've never toured, and I'd like to check that experience off my bucket list before I hang up my Stratocasters. I'd also like the opportunity to use my decades of music and production knowledge to oversee and produce music projects.  In 2024 I’m planning to record/demo some of my original songs with the intent of producing full versions of my original music.

I'm accomplished as both a musician and vocalist in many genres of popular music and I welcome the opportunity to perform or produce with a group of like-minded, capable people to create something astounding for ourselves and an audience. Also depending on the genre and time to prepare I could possibly perform as a sub for your live music performances with guitar being my main instrument (with lead and backup vocals) but I'm proficient on bass with vocals, jazz drumming, and blues-based piano and organ (also with vocals.)
